  Proprietor of Tres, Juan Alvarez, spent most of his career working and managing busy salons. Multitasking services and working on several guests at once was the norm. With the help of assistants he would do a freehand balayage on one guest and then move to cut a technically savvy razor cut on another. But times have changed. Since Covid we care for our health and well being now more now than ever. So Juan realized that to continue to offer his talents and grow in a safe environment; he had to adapt.

Enter, Tres Studios, a private studio for hair. Impassioned by his talents and love for music, art, and hair. This space will allow him to focus on creating high-quality hair services with 5 star customer care, one client at a time.

With 20+ yrs. of salon experience and extensive training. Juan has been building his cutting and coloring techniques with intention. Learning different disciplines and philosophies straight from the masters of the industry. Now, as a Master Artisan for Alfaparf Milano. Juan travels the country, teaching eager stylists about color theory and color technique. He tries to inspire his peers by sharing his knowledge and giving back to the industry that has nurtured his career.

From raw to chic his hairstyles and brilliant color-work he has a vast technical range. Blessed with am amazing diverse clientele from all walks of life. His priority are his guest and believes in creating the best hair experience.
